As wine critics Raymond Chan commented, O:TU Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc Barrel Reserve 2013 has a seductive bouquet, rich of aromas of yellow and orange fruits layering on herbaceous and grassy scents.

The divine sweetie as we call it, could not be made every year. In 2013, the dry and sunny summer promoted the development of very intense crop, the fruit of which, during the late harvest season, was infected by Botrytis as rain suddenly came in, ending up with highly concentrated fruit flavours.

All these beautiful coincidences created the chance to make something special: O:TU Barrel Reserve 2013. With a little touch of used oak barrel, O:TU Barrel Reserve is “an elegantly concentrated, medium-sweet late harvest Sauvignon Blanc with a rich core of stonefruit essence flavours and the beginnings of secondary complexities.” (Raymond Chan)
