“…Medium-sweet and light-bodied, the palate is elegantly concentrated with lusciously rich flavours of green stonefruit essence, tropical fruits and lime marmalade, detailed with nutty and piquant herbal elements. The mouthfeel balances a sense of unctuousness with very fine textures and crisp, enlivening acidity. This has a deeply packed core and line which carries the concentrated gooseberry and greengage essence flavours to a long, lingering ripe flavoured, but refreshing finish….”

“An elegantly sweet wine, the lifted bouquet shows apricot, mango, citrus and herbaceous characters with subtle infusion of nutty complexity. The palate is succulent and expressive with gentle sweetness, backed by refreshing acidity, leading to a lingering juicy finish. The wine offers fruit power and intensity as well as weight and structure, making it a lovely partner to mildly sweet desserts. ”

“Intriguing dessert wine in a moderately sweet style with honeyed botrytis adding an extra dimension to ripe Sauvignon Blanc flavours. The wine has a seasoning of spicy (French?) oak that works beautifully by adding to rather than distracting from the varietal/botrytis flavours and introducing an influence of drying tannins that helps restrain sweetness. A great aperitif wine – try it with blue cheese.
